| Banner Engineering is the nations leading manufacturer of vision sensors photoelectric and ultrasonic sensors fiber optic assemblies electronic machine guarding systems and precision measurement systems Banner supplies sensors to most of the manufacturing companies in the Fortune 500 who rely on Banner for reliable automation solutions Banner sensors help manufacture the car you drive the TV you watch the food you eat the medicines you take and virtually every other product you consume We recognize that it is our employees who make Banner an innovative organization and we appreciate their contributions to Banners success We are committed to making Banner an energized casual workplace where everyones ideas and efforts are valued We currently have a fulltime position available in our Corporate Headquarters location for an Oracle Business Analyst in our Operations Department This position is responsible for proactively investigating documenting and understanding new and existing technical Oracle EBS functionality This role requires expert technical skills in root cause analysis and complex problem solving issue resolution and troubleshooting Job Description In coordination with other Banner Business Analysts (BAs) and end users this person is responsible for the functional support for the Operations Department on Oracle EBS and other systems Leads proactive initiatives of investigating documenting and understand functionality of new and existing Oracle EBS components This position will also recommend and implement new actions reports and processes to increase end user efficiencies Duties and Responsibilities Proactively investigating documenting and understanding new and existing technical Oracle EBS functionality Reviews analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs Documents requirements defines scope and objectives and formulates solutions for Operations business needs Train and communicate Operations systems to users and department leaders Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) or super users in their functional area Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other BAs SMEs and management across the organization QualificationsRequirements BABS in Computer Science Business or related field required Experience creating adhoc queries using query tools Oracle SQL and PLSQL with general programming knowledge Experience with Oracle EBS with working experience of one or more EBusiness Suite Modules Inventory Advanced Supply Chain Planning ASCP Warehouse Management WMS Work in Process WIP Material Planner Quality Purchasing Bill of Material BOM or Cost Management Experience with Oracle SR Process (My Oracle Support) QlikView or other BI tool experience preferred Have experience with gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements specifications SkillsAbilities Posses strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to understand business needs and interpret communicate and implement technical solutions to fulfill those needs Resultsoriented individual with the ability to deliver quality ontime results Strong verbal and written communication skills required Must be well organized efficient detailoriented and able to work independently as well as a member of a team Training skills Be a proactive self motivated team player Proven history of successful problem solving with strong technical skills |
