on new and unknown technology support requests Stay abreast of the latest trends in technology and in IT process Deploy install and troubleshoot workstationslaptops software and other peripherals Maintain inventory of technology equipment Create user accounts groups and permissions to various enterprise applications Perform basic network and infrastructure troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed Document systems to a level by which a reproducible environment is created Perform IT purchasing roles including product research vender selection purchasing and tracking QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or 4 years of equivalent experience Three years of experience in IT support or related field (At least two out of three) Microsoft Windows 7 Apple OS X and Linux desktop administration and support experience Experience with at least one scripting language (PowerShell Perl Python Ruby BATCH etc) First rate customer service Exposure to Linux applications including Git DHCP SSH NFS etc Exposure to Microsoft BackOffice servers (eg Exchange SQL Server Project Server) A strong desire to improve skills and processes through constant
