| Introduction Computer Solutions is currently adding a Senior Cisco Unified Communications (Voice) Engineer to our team of highly trained professionals This individual will be part of a dynamic and successful Engineering group that develops Unified Communications solutions from design to delivery Solutions complexity varies from SMB clients to Enterprise Contact Center environments with moderate to heavy IVR and application integration requirements Solutions require application of industry best practices combined with innovative use of technologies to provide superior value for our Clients Computer Solutions offers a broad array of informationtechnology products and services to a mostly south Texas client base Over the years the company has forged strong strategic alliances with top names in the industry including Microsoft HewlettPackard IBM Cisco and others In addition to hardware sales we are frequently the single point of contact for our clients for a wide range of Professional Services including Managed Services Video IP Telephony Data Center Services IP Networking Network Security Wireless and Virtualization Technologies Since 1984 we have grown from 1 million to 45 million in annual revenues Over the years our customer base has grown to about 300 companies across San Antonio and south Texas and our workforce to over 50 highly trained and certified staff Our record of success is clear recently being named one of the Best Companies to Work for in San Antonio by the San Antonio Business Journal Position Summary A lead position that is active in all phases of the solution life cycle for Cisco voice technologies This individual will establish relationships with key clients design workable technology solutions and provide implementation and operational support Responsibilities Work with the Sales function to identify and gather requirements for solutions and proposal development Design solutions and plan implementations in partnership with the Project Manager and Client Translate business needs into technology specifications Serve as a technical authority for voice related technologies Configure hardware and software in support of solution deployments Provide technical mentoring and development to other team members Stay current with new technologies and innovations and recommend adoption of new technologies Maintain certifications relevant to job role and as required by Cisco partnership requirements Required Skills and Qualifications 5 + years of experience in planning designing and implementing Ciscos UC product line including Unified Communications Manager Unified Contact Center Express Unified CCX Editor Voice Gateways Unity and Unity Connection in midmarket andor Enterprise environments Proven experience in developing and deploying a wide range of contact center services including gathering and documenting call flow requirements IVR application scripting call prompt development CTI integration test case development monitoring services and realtime status notifications Strong voice telecom feature knowledge for integration with PSTN services and transport technologies ANI DNIS DID PRI IPsec SIP H323 Ethernet Private Lines MPLS Strong working knowledge of call processing principles metrics and features for business efficiency and call flow optimization Service Level Management Average Speed of Answer Hold Times Abandon Rates Wrap Up Time Time In Ready etc Working knowledge of system peripherals and businesss management tools such as quality monitoring evaluating and coaching workforce management silent monitoring outbound dialers and campaign management Knowledge of and experience with a variety of industry verticals such as financial healthcare manufacturing and retail Have a history of working unsupervised while achieving required goals Must work well in a team environment be highly motivated and willing to learn new skills Excellent written and presentation skills |
