| Now serving New York City for 30 years City Harvest is the worlds first food rescue organization dedicated to feeding the citys hungry men women and children This year City Harvest will collect more than 42 million pounds of excess food from all segments of the food industry including restaurants grocers corporate cafeterias manufacturers and farms This food is then delivered free of charge to some 600 community food programs throughout New York City by a fleet of trucks and bikes City Harvest helps feed the more than one million New Yorkers that face hunger each year While meeting the immediate need for food in the five boroughs City Harvest ensures hungry New Yorkers have the food they need on an ongoing basis Healthy Neighborhoods is a suite of programs designed to improve healthy food access and knowledge in four neighborhoods within New York City (fifth coming soon) Working directly with residents businesses and community organizations City Harvests goals are to relieve food insecurity build nutritional knowledge at the individual family and community levels and increase the access people have to affordable fresh fruits and vegetables City Harvest Inc is seeking an Application Developer to enhance its energetic IT Team This person will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all enterprise applications and should be experienced in complex integration solutions utilizing applications such as Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Inventory Management System (IMS) Management Reporter Lingo Software UPS RoadNet Transportation suite and Microsoft CRM The Application Developer will report to the Director of Information Technology The successful candidate will use his or her business analysis skills and creativity coupled with problem solving ability to provide reporting tools dashboards application modifications support and maintenance in a fast paced growing business environment He or she will act as the IT liaison for the Operations Analysis Transportation and Warehouse Operations Finance and Community Programs groups to provide software solutions to streamline and automate existing processes Roles and Responsibilities For internal customers and external software vendors analyze and troubleshoot problems communicate issues proactively and ensure quality solutions Provide valueadded approaches and solutions for major ERP implementations and provide reporting and systems training to operating managers Analyze and evaluate functional processes to define the scope of the product customization if needed Provide software implementation process and improvement strategies that result in higher quality lower development cost and much lower implementation and support cost Function as MS Dynamics CRM and IMS administrator Create dashboards and smartlists for operating managers in every department of City Harvest Use MS Dynamics for automated distribution of reports through Sharepoint integration Manage projects internally and in conjunction with outside vendor consultants including MS vendor Roadnet vendor Lingo and Blackbaud Plan design and implement new projects including volunteer management systems onroad data capture by drivers warehouse bar coding of pallets Work closely with Finance team on MS Dynamics GL solutions Required Skills BS in Computer Science or related degree 57 years handson development experience or at least 8 years equivalent application development experience using current technologies in a corporate environment with verifiable ongoing training in current development tools and technologies 5+ years corporate experience as an Application Developer with progressively increasing roles and responsibilities and a solid understanding of ERP and CRM applications Experience using application development lifecycle methodologies Understanding of the software development life cycle Demonstrated ability to communicate complex systems issues and solutions effectively to teams consisting of both technical and nontechnical managers and staff at all levels of the organization Must be able to work both as part of a team and individually while adhering to project plans meeting deadlines and achieving project goals before assigned deadlines Application development utilizing SQL XML Net Framework Visual Studio ASPnet C HTML and PHP Handson support and maintenance of ERP CRM and net applications in a Microsoft environment including Windows SQL Server 2008 and IIS Technical knowledge should include Microsoft Dynamics SQL Database SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) CRM preferably Microsoft CRM Implementation and Support of Webenabled reporting tools using technologies including BI Dashboards SSRS SSAS and management reporting tools preferably using data from multiple ERP and CRM sources Design and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 server and experience using Share point designer and
