SharePointNetwork Analyst GEI Consultants Inc is a leading consulting engineering firm ranked 126 in the ENR top 500 (2012) We serve hundreds of Government Energy Industry and Institutional clients and have completed 30000 project engagements throughout the United States Canada and more than 20 other countries Founded in 1970 our privately held employeeowned company consists of over 500 employees located in 25 offices across the US GEIs technical experts are involved in dozens of specialty services emanating from our traditional core practices which include geotechnical environmental infrastructure water resources and ecology GEI continues to grow and expand both in our technical services offerings and geographic coverage GEI sellerdoers are considered some of the leading subject matter experts (SMEs) in their respective fields We have current openings for practice leaders in a host of disciplines across the United States Summary As a SharePointNetwork Analyst your focus will be to develop test and implement SharePoint solutions In addition you will work with senior network engineer to assist in the maintenance and enhancement of IT network and communications infrastructure Primary Responsibilities Take responsibility for creation of the SharePoint solutionscomponent Under general direction designs constructs tests implements and optimizes portions of basic systems that enable and support business processes Researches technical environment and system needs Defines scope plans and deliverables for assigned basic projects Collects detailed user and technical requirements Works with others to analyze collected requirements translate into programming solutions and ensure that identified solutions meet business needs and expectations Under supervision designs constructs tests and implements solutions Monitors performance to identify and help resolve system problems Investigates and resolves problems on selected software products and standard systems Participates in standard solution implementations upgrades enhancements and conversions Builds knowledge on emerging tools techniques and technologies Qualifications 1 to 3 years experience in the development of custom solutions using SharePoint 2010 platform 1 to 3 years experience in the configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows based servers (server 2008 R2 or higher) and Cisco Routers and switches Understands Basic concepts of TCPIP networking 1 to 3 years experience in the configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco networking equipment 1 to 3 years experience in the configuration troubleshooting administration of Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 servers and Widows 7 workstation Independent work skills Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and related work experience Preferred Certifications SharePoint and MCPD Certified
