| ColgatePalmolive is a leading global consumer products company tightly focused on Oral Care Personal Care Home Care and Pet Nutrition Colgate sells its products in over 200 countries and territories around the world under such internationally recognized brand names as Colgate Palmolive Mennen Softsoap Irish Spring Protex Sorriso Kolynos elmex Toms of Maine Sanex Ajax Axion Fabuloso Soupline and Suavitel as well as Hills Science Diet and Hills Prescription Diet Our Company invites applications for the position of IT Technical Analyst at Colgates Morristown NJ location This candidate will be a core member of a development team within our Global Information Technology Demand Chain organization responsible for delivery of new and enhancing existing SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Central Component (ECC) functionalities Also serve as key team resource for gathering and analysis of business requirements for new CRM andor ECC projects This candidate will work with others as appropriate to design develop and test SAP CRMECC functionality that addresses business functional requirements create and maintain the design code documentation and testing procedures during the functional lifecycle of development and track document changes in functional and business specifications writing detailed procedures that can be easily understood by endusers Finally this candidate will work collaboratively with other team members and our businessvendor partners to continually improve the quality of SAP CRMECC developments This candidate will be working on building global development bundles for but not limited to our Category Management and Customer development organization The person will be using the skills in SAPCRM ABAP ECC Business Service Pages (BSP) and SAP Object Oriented Programming Specific responsiblities include Participate in the development of Global solutions for capabilities across multiple customer segments Customer Development Marketing and Knowledge Management Participate in the development of Global BW andor R3 applications Performs investigational analysis and evaluation to determine project or application feasibility Challenge existing processes concepts or requirements identifying new techniques technology that can add value to business IT Participate in the development of quality applications bundles providing clearing documentation and testing results that adhere to global standards Build sustainable applications utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver business value and ensure that value is continuing to be maximized throughout the development process Liaising with business ownersusers and Shared Services Organizations in the definition of functional requirements the translation of those requirements into development specifications and the constructiontesting of a system bundle for successful implementation within business units around the world This position requires the following qualifications Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Information Technology Mathematics or Engineering A proven track record of performance with increasing technical responsibility Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT role developing configuring and implementing SAP BW andor R3 applications Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in ABAP FOX SAP Data Services Business Service Pages (BSP) andor Object Oriented Programming is desirable Strong oral written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms Strong desire to expand knowledge of SAP applications on a technical level Able to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations individuals and technologies IT or Business work experience for a consumer goods organization is desirable |
