| Virgin HealthMiles Job Title Senior Web Developer II Are you an experienced web developer interested in working with a leading innovator in the hot health technology space and for one of the biggest global brands today This senior position is part of a team that is responsible in developing and maintaining software applications to support websites kiosks mobile devices and back office applications for the Virgin HealthMiles products as well as delivering new product features and services that drive the Virgin HealthMiles strategy Virgin HealthMiles part of Sir Richard Bransons world renown Virgin Group develops and delivers health and wellness technologies and programs to US employers that helps them motivate employees measure population health and manage their health and wellness strategy We lead the industry by inspiring over 50 of eligible employees enrolls in the programs and 95 of members would recommend the program to a friend Job Summary Under limited supervision designs codes tests debugs and analyze software programs and applications to ensure the highest reliability performance and user engagement Assigned projects are generally highly technical or complex in nature and may require advanced technical knowledge in all areas of applications programming and systems design May provide technical guidance to others in the work group Skills Qualifications 79 years of software development and database development work experience that includes experience with NET technologies (C ASPNET) Advanced proficiency with NET 40 technologies (C ASPNET) Advanced proficiency in AJAX HTML DHTML JavaScript JQuery CSS skills Proficiency in TFS VS2010 automated code release procedures Proficiency with Web Services Working experience with SharePoint 2010 development content deployment Working experience with code optimization Proficiency with MS SQLServer 20052008 TSQL functions and stored procedures Excellent problem solving coding unit testing and debugging Solid verbal and written communication skills Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills and proven ability to communicate across all business levels Works in an independent self directed manner and perform equally as well as part of a team Performs in a fast paced environment Express complex technical concepts effectively Team leadership skills to provide technical guidance and others in the work group The salary is competitive nationally and consideration is given to experience and a track record of success The package will include incentive compensation dependent upon achieving product and company objectives Virgin HealthMiles offers a complete benefits package and generous flexwork and paid time off policies This job is located in Framingham MA About the company Virgin HealthMiles is a fast growing innovative company that serves over 150 clients and hundreds of thousands of members from leading companies in the US We are a fastpaced friendly multicultural team that values health and is passionate about our work and the impact it has on peoples lives The Virgin Group stands for value quality innovation fun and a sense of competitive challenge We strive to continually improve the customers experience through innovation Virgins products and services span many aspects of life in sectors ranging from mobile telephony to transportation financial services media music and health |
