| We are a leader GAR Products is one of the global leaders in Furniture Manufacturing for the Restaurant and Hospitality industries We are stable For over 50 years GAR Products has been an industry leader and is on its third generation of family ownership We have employees celebrating over 25 years with the business We are growing Our company has been growing at double digits and has continued to hire and expand aggressively for the past several years We provide seating tables and accessories to all of the top international hotel and restaurant chains with finished goods and components assembled from around the world and customized right here in our New Jersey factory shipping worldwide GAR Products offers a competitive salary and benefit package GAR Products has a new opening for a fulltime Junior Technician to support various Windows 61 OSX and virtualized environments This will include installation and configuration of equipment and connections Potential networking includes local area network (LAN) wide area networks (WAN) mobile networks and virtual private networks (VPNs) using a variety of physical layer networking technologies The ideal candidate will have an understanding of technical issues such as operating systems best practices user support workstation and server installation and troubleshooting This candidate will understand systems security concepts (user account management user permissions file sharing etc) and should have a cursory knowledge of network protocols routing firewalls and physical layer hardware Understanding of networking security concepts such as security policy identification and authorization technologies and authentication methodologies is a plus Basic understanding of SQL VB C++ also a plus Position Scope Installation and Inventory of physical equipment Installation of operating systems User Account generation and maintenance Creation and maintenance of documentation as it relates to systems configuration Train new users on existing applications Help desk and end user support Telephony Management Implementation and maintenance of virtualized servers workstations and network appliances This is an entry level position Candidates must be innovative selfstarting flexible and able to follow directions Must be excited to learn new technologies and apply them Candidate must have a background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Qualified individual will have experience with LAN WAN networking Active Directory DNS DHCP |
