| Associate Electrical Engineer (First Level) GCA Services Group Austin TX Electrical Engineer IndustrialManufacturing Power Distribution Skills Preferred Electrical Design Power Distribution Manufacturing Power Distribution Industrial Power distribution projects We are searching for an Electrical Engineer with experience ( preferred) andor education focus on working on Power Distribution projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment please read on Our firm has an immediate need for a power focused Electrical Engineer for power distribution projects within an industrial or manufacturing setting This position will assist in the design development and commissioning of power distributions in industrial manufacturing environments We are seeking an ambitious innovative person with the ability to build valueadded relationships with our customer team Primary responsibilities will include Fast paced electrical design and drafting for construction projects Design specification and coordination of various electrical systems Assisting team members by delivering ontime highquality drawing packages The Associate level Electrical Engineer profile is a recent graduate to 5 years experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution be able to develop and maintain programming documents to support and implement approved engineering plans including technical documentation develop concept project descriptions and justification engineering analysis and programming guidelines Semiconductor tool equipment installation design experience is desirable EIT certification is preferred Candidate must be able to lead teams and drive organizational goals self starter requiring minimal direction and follow up PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform andor review single and three phase system designs to include motor control VFD PLC and ladder logic Perform studies design engineering activities related to projects Demonstrated ability to lead teams to analyze root cause events develop and implement imaginativeinnovative solutions to complex electrical issues Support manufacturing ESIH and maintenance personnel Plan and prepare designs specifications and estimates for projects compliant to local state and federal regulations and codes Evaluate bids submittals and contractormanufacturer furnished information Evaluate facilities through studies for replacements or additionsexpansions based on adequacy capacity convenience reliability and safety of operations Recommend appropriate actions which are cost effective and capable of future expansion Inspect specific construction andor maintenance work to ensure adherence to design plans Direct designersdrafters and support interdiscipline coordination in preparation of project documents Prepare and present information to upper management as required Support system startup system optimization and shut down functions Analyze and determine root cause of factory outages due to system failures Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD Support organizational goals Complete all assignments within committed deadline Address issues within established directives without escalation Ability to function effectively with peers inside and outside the organization Actively demonstrate ownership of issues GCA Services Group is a contract partner that works very closely with our client and this position may lead to a full time opportunity working within their team Competitive package and benefits No relocation available Position is located in Austin Texas Please send resume cover letter and salary requirements Please do not contact poster If selected you will be contacted |
