| Manager Information Systems Handson information systems manager with recent administration experience with Windows Server and Desktop systems Exchange VMWare MPLS LANWAN and Phone technologies Essential Functions Evaluates hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations Installs and maintains hardware and software including servers peripherals and workstations Coordinates thirdparty maintenance for hardware and software Responsible for system security Prepares and maintains documentation of configurations Provides support to and trains users Monitors and maintains system stability Corrects problems and outages as they occur Performs daily and weekly backups of computer systems and responsible for disaster planning and recovery On call 24 X 7 for network and server related issues Skills Must have advanced knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting procedures Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Quick learner good at researching and digging for answers Excellent communication skills at technical and nontechnical levels Excellent time management and multitasking skills Attention to detail and quality of work The drive and ability to see problems through to completion Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm courteous and efficient manner Experience Minimum four years experience required PC client and server hardware and software experience Experience with all Microsoft operating systems and server administration Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration VMWare administration SAN administration Experience with MPLS LAN WAN and phone technologies High level knowledge of network routers hubs switches firewalls and their configuration Education and Certifications Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field Microsoft server certified preferred Please email resume to jobsunoscom |
