| Position Overview The IT Service Support Technician will be responsible for daily operation support maintenance and software training within our Lithia Springs GA Facility In addition this position will participate in research and development and support of new technologies for the entire organization We offer a casual work environment with great flexibility Daily Job Functions Ensure 100 uptime within computers in our Lithia Springs facility Install and roll out new computers software and security enhancements Run low voltage (Cat6) within facility when needed Troubleshoot issues within local retail stores Remote troubleshooting of IT related issues within our remote sites Troubleshoot all network related issues and coordinate with various departments when necessary Interface with support vendors to resolve complex issues Administer user accountsrightspermissions within Active Directory Research recommend and implement network technologies and methods for improving the network performance and security Create and maintain network documentation including but not limited to system specifications installationoperational qualifications procedural documents inventory records system logs softwarehardware invoices and licenses Ensure all important company data systems and policies follow best practices for security reliability storage capacity and configuration management Perform various other tasks as assigned Prior experience in the following are required A minimum of 3+ years experience in a comparable position is required Network+ certification or Security+ certification Working experience using popular network management and scanning tools including Visio Active Directory Windows 2003 Windows 2008 Antivirus Software Computer Repair Troubleshooting Remote Desktop Connection andor VNC Microsoft Exchange 2007 Group Policies Nortel BCM phone system Strong handson technical background Comfortable using all tools of the trade including screw drivers power tools and low voltage crimping tools Prior experience in the following are a bonus Retail Pro Kewill Clippership UPS Worldship Embroidery equipment Licensed to perform High Voltage work Classic ASP Microsoft Net Strong documentation skills are a must as is being able to communicate well both in a verbal and written environment Applicants will be working with all company departments and divisions As with all networks employees may occasionally need to be available afterhours Applicants will be available to work a modified schedule as this site opens early in the morning and closes down later in the evening Benefits Uniform Advantage is a strong competitor in the marketplace Our compensation program is designed to attract motivate develop and retain the very best talent We work hard to ensure we have the policies and programs in place so all team members receive fair and equitable compensation based on performance The Uniform Advantage benefits program allows our employees to select the best features for their individual andor dependent(s) needs Our benefit features include but are not limited to Medical insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Short and long term disability 401K with partial company match Paid vacation |
