| EDUCATION TRAINING Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy is required Doctor of Pharmacy Degree is desirable EXPERIENCE Information Systems Clinical Applications LICENSE CERTIFICATION Registered Pharmacist in the State of Kentucky JOB PURPOSESUMMARY This position requires thorough knowledge of modern pharmacy practice computer science skills relating to data base management clinical information systems and pharmacy computer systems and strong verbal and written communication skills Furthermore this position requires an individual who seeks creative solutions and possesses initiative and decisiveness The pharmacist will use knowledge of information systems and the medicationuse process to improve patient care by ensuring that new technologies lead to safer and more effective medication use Must have a philosophy of practice in accordance with the Department and demonstrate competence in pharmacy practice for areas pertinent to University Hospital |
