| COMPANY Defense Engineering Corporation (DEC) DEC provides highvalue highquality engineering and product development services to customers and collaborators in the Department of Defense and industry We specialize in advanced sensor and processing technologies for Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Unmanned Systems and SelfProtection applications Our culture is one of patriotism and respect for customers and collaborators We are proud of the role we play in using advanced technologies to help the services achieve mission success JOB DESCRIPTION A successful candidate will be a selfmotivated member of a small engineering team responsible for performing the following tasks Design and fabricate sensor system prototypes including specialized test and calibration equipment Develop hardware to stimulate sensor performance in a laboratory system testbed Design develop and troubleshoot electronic circuits and PCB assemblies Design and implementation of VHDL algorithms for FPGAs Assist in identifying technical requirements for projectsprograms Document concepts designs analyses and progress reports REQUIREMENTS BSEE with 5+ years of electrical engineering experience Knowledge of electronic circuit design Experience developing PCBs using CAD software Experience implementing designs into FPGAs using VHDL Familiar with lab testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Excellent oral and written communication skills ability to present technical material to management colleagues and customers Knowledge of embedded programming in C is preferred Experience with imagesignal processing applications preferred Ability to qualify for DOD security clearance US Citizenship |
