Job Description
| Oversee and execute the ongoing development operations and maintenance of a data warehousingbusiness intelligence (DWBI) platform and architecture that enables enterprisewide factbased decision making ad hoc analysis insight generation and reporting Partner with business owners analysts and other DWBI team members to translate requirements into a complete DWBI solution including defining designing and building the logicalphysical data models the ETL protocols and process and the BI applications platform Accountabilities 1 Work with business partners understand their needs for information develop solutions and educate them during the process 2 Design develop manage and maintain the DWBI platform according to the Kimball Lifecycle methodology 21 Design and manage the bus matrix and conformed dimensions planning and execution 22 Design the business processes dimensional models 23 Design and build the extract transform and load (ETL) protocol 24 Support reporting analysis and insight communication applications 3 Maintain high levels of DWBI system availability by providing support functions and thorough testing 31 Create maintain secure monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) databases 32 Monitor and troubleshoot the DWBI portal in SharePoint 33 Monitor identify test and resolve network connectivity and datarelated issues 4 Create and maintain data and access security protocols 5 Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of the NCAAs transactional source systems Connect to and access data on various servers 6 Continuously improve the DWBI environment |
