| POSITION SUMMARY Under minimal direction the GIS Programmer Analyst designs and maintains programs in geographic information systems (GIS) and creates integrations as needed from enterprise information systems to the GIS system The position will make use of skills in ARCGIS ARCSDE Model Builder ARCGIS Server and Python scripting to test deploy and provide ongoing support for enterprise level systems applications INITIAL PROJECT The GIS Programmer Analyst will have a key new and exciting role in planning testing deploying monitoring and supporting a new Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) for City Utilities which will be integrated with the Citys ARCGIS (ESRI) system The Utilities has chosen Maximo as its new enterprise CMMS system Maximo will be critical to the ongoing day to day operations of all the Utilities including water electric stormwater and waste water departments Integration of Maximo with the Citys standard mapping system ESRI will be critical to the successful overall implementation The GIS Programmer Analyst role will include data mappingmigrations from existing disparate workorder systems into tables in Maximo housed in an Oracle 11g database Creating integrations from Maximo to the ESRI mapping system will be a key component of this role The selected GIS Programmer Analyst will get in on the early stages of this program and will be able to help set the direction along with the project team and the project managers EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Geography Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of three years of handson experience with ARCSDE and ARC GIS systems or equivalent combination of education and experience COMPENSATION and BENEFITS The Salary Range for the GIS Programmer Analyst is 4459 6221 monthly Hiring Range is 4459 5340 monthly depending on qualifications A very competitive benefits package is included See details at and apply at httpwwwfcgovcomjobs The City of Fort Collins is an Equal Opportunity Employer |
