| BASIC FUNCTIONPURPOSE The PHP Developer builds high performance cache and data base driven applications Also responsible for the full life cycle of development using leadingedge technologies including PHP Java MYSQL Lamp Stack Linux NGINIX Queuing and multiple other third party toolsets MAJOR DUTIES Programmer must work independently to design and implement major enhancements Works with clients and customers to design and build custom software applications Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects with management Codes tests and debugs new software Resolves customer complaints and responds to suggestions or improvements Works with IT and DBA engineers to insure the system is operational and running 247 Works with QA to insure automation is being created and used to validate software Responsible for documentation of system and how it operates PERIODIC DUTIES Train end users and support staff on applications Participates in appropriate meetings workshops and technical meetings SELECTION STANDARDSQUALIFICATIONS 3 plus years of experience developing solutions using PHP Java and the Linux stack In depth knowledge of PHP MYSQL JAVA and Linux BS degree Computer Science from four year CollegeUniversity required A deep understanding of objectoriented design using PHP and Java Windows C and MemCache are a plus Presents clear concise and logical communication both oral and written PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Commitment to Informa Research Services Inc standards and policies Successful application of job knowledge and skills Effectiveness of follow through and accuracy Informa Research Services Inc is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against persons because of age race color creed religion disability gender ethnic or national origin or veteran status |
