Job Description
| Reviews analyzes develops and modifies programming systems including coding testing debugging and documenting programs Assists in coordinating various projects to ensure departmental goals are accomplished Converts designs and specifications into computer code compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in the compilation process Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications Analyzes code to identify and correct programming errors Consults with clients andor Analyst to gather program requirements and determine objectives functions and features including inputoutput requirements Writes and maintains documentation describing program development logic coding testing changes and corrections Write documentation or reviews documentation written by others that describe installation and operating procedures Provides technical assistance by responding to inquires from staff regarding errors problems or questions about programs Installs and tests programs at client location monitors performance of programs after implementation Other duties as assigned |
