Network Administrator A Michigan based IT Company is looking for a candidate with the following Education an Associates or a Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or Engineering related field Will consider other Bachelors degree types with proper experience Experience 57 years Virtualization Strong knowledge of VMware infrastructure and implementation Must be able to support and implement VMware ESXI and VSphere interconnection with SAN setup and maintenance IT certification Any of MCP MCSE CCNA ITIL VMware Windows 200020032008 Servers i) (MUST) Experience in setup new and maintain existing Microsoft Windows server 2000 2003 2008 Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy Organizational Units RDP terminal services file security and sharing Windows Security and desktop profile lock down Maintain passwords data integrity and file system security for the desktop and server Install printers and peripherals Coordinate additions moves changes and deletions of software and user accounts on Windows 200020032008 servers ii) Microsoft Exchange Setup new maintain and troubleshoot existing exchange servers Maintenance and backup of mail stores updates patches and auxiliary software (Spam control and Antivirus) merging of mailboxes transfer of databases and data backup restore measures iii) Helpdesk Tech support Provide daytoday support to clients for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware onsite or remotely (Remote user support) Coordinating and prioritizing service calls and tracking issues for desktop PCs and laptops Install and maintain antivirus solutions and data backup systems Reformat and reinstall OS and configure drivers Perform hardware repairs maintenance and upgrades iv) Networking Strong knowledge of routing concepts VLANs managed switches ISP connectivity VPN VPN tunnels remote access VOIP Firewall port forwarding and internal servers Monitor server and network infrastructure for performance security and integrity using industry standard utilities Document networks pcs and servers and perform asset management and documentation Setup wireless environments using multiple Access Points v) (MUST) Wiring Strong knowledge of cat5E cabling and ability to run wires to build the infrastructure troubleshoot wiring issues and fix on the spot vi) Recommend hardwaresoftware solutions to benefit the IT team as well as the clients including new acquisitions and upgrades vii) (Strong Plus) Linux proficiency
