| Maintains Microsoft Exchange environment for organization Responsible for maintaining security standards encryption standards compliance of HIPAA standards Assist with continued development of Disaster Recovery plans Oversees monitoring of backup systems General duties include supporting the use of all server based software modules network software clientserver hardwaresoftware installations of servers Network devices related peripherals and cabling Specific Tasks Maintains our ExchangeOutlook Environment Createsmanages accounts Assigns resources Publishes Directories Calendar sharing and other workgroup technologies Monitors Servers and resources Troubleshoots problems as they relate to Exchange servers and Outlook workstations Works with all staff to ensure effective use of email and electronic documentation Maintain indepth knowledge of all assigned core technologies and MS Windows servers and operating systems Conducts email training Oversees the monitoring of backup system Works to ensure the integrity and security of the hospital back up system SecurityEncryptionHIPAADisaster Recovery Encryption of all email system components drives to the file level Assist with and monitor compliance with HIPAA standards Security training and education Assists with the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans maintains current knowledge of plan executable and assists with coordination of response in crisis in accordance with plans General Duties Supports the use of all server based software modules network software clientserver hardwaresoftware installations of servers Network devices related peripherals and cabling Duties in concert and support of the network administrators clinical analysts workstation support Evaluation of new hardware and software technology Upgrading of existing architecture Performs integration and installation of applications with network enhancements peripheral upgrades training of other IS analysts Coordinates problem resolution with end user and IS support staff Documents all assigned applications |
