| At GameHouse a division of RealNetworks we believe its good to game As the largest developer publisher and distributor of casual games we offer more games and more ways to play them all across the expansive mix of channels including leading social networks online smartphones and tablets and download Our toprated Mobile and Facebook games include GameHouse Slots Collapse Blast Delicious and more RealNetworks Inc is a global Media Software and Services company headquartered in Seattle Washington RealNetworks creates innovative applications and services that make it easy to connect with share and enjoy digital media Check us out at wwwrealnetworkscom The Manager of Technical Operations is responsible for managing the data centers and systems administrators that provide technical support and maintenance to GameHouse applications that are critical to daytoday operations GameHouse has over 1000 games in our catalogue and we host both our own games and third party titles with an international audience and team Internal clients for this team include development test BI operations and all support functions What you will own build and be held accountable for Manage and mentor the Technical Operations team (2 FTE System Administrators) in an international 24x7 support environment Perform engineering implementation and maintenance on the LAN and WAN networking components Emergency response and remediation for unanticipated network outages Perform regular assessments and upgrades of network and devices including capacity planning software upgrades and security analysis Analysis of network statistics and performance Manage hardware and service provider relationships Monitoring systems databases and networks for proper operation and performance Communicating across the organization including executive management Candidates Must Have Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent 5+ years of enterprise andor datacenter networking and infrastructureIT (including IP topology) management experience Prior leadmanagement experience Track record of process improvement and increasing product reliability and supportability Comprehensive understanding of the complete technology stack that delivers effective hosting solutions Understanding storage solutions Strong customerservice focus and work ethic Solid knowledge of Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS) Cisco IOS (Switches and Routers) Cisco ASA and Juniper SRX Firewalls and Citrix Netscaler Loadbalancers Demonstrable knowledge of LANWAN protocols including VLANs Spanningtree 8021q BGP OSPF IPSec ACLs and Loadbalancing Firm understanding of datacenter operations including power management and environmental controls Solid understanding of and demonstrated work experience with Ubuntu and RedHatCentOS Linux Thorough understanding of web applications based on Apache Tomcat Java PHP MySQL and SQL Server Knowledge of KVM virtualization and iSCSI Ideal Candidates Will Offer CheckMkNagios knowledge a plus Prior experience with a cloud migration initiative Must be able to transport equipment between locations Some international travel may be required RealNetworks Inc is proud to offer our full time employees an extensive benefits package including vacation medical dental vision 401K an employee stock purchase program and subsidized commuting options Additional benefits include our charitable matching program learning and development programs employee wellness plans and more RealNetworks is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) |
