Job Description
| Were looking for a strong leader with a utilitysecurity software background who will be responsible for managing all aspects of our 20 person engineering product management and QA team This individual will Work with product marketing to define new products Establish and manage an aggressive product roadmap schedule Inspire the team to deliver high quality desktop and Cloud solutions on time Recruit and retain quality engineers and web developers Assign specific tasks to team members supervise the quality of their work and prioritize all of the tasks associated with the development of those solutions Work in close cooperation with Product Marketing QA and Customer Support to refine and continually improve the products Be proactive to identify and fix broken processes procedures or previous deficiencies in the products Clearly communicate the status of projects to management Has the capability to write code for the exploration of new technologies Conduct each team members annual performance review Desired Skills Experience Strong leadership with a keen eye on detail 5+ years agile management experience Security or utility software experience Masters degree in computer sciencesoftware engineering Excellent verbal written and communications skills Excellent organizational skills Proven experience in Consumer software development or product management Indepth understanding of the operating system architecture (Windows essentially Linux would be a plus) Cloud solutions that use subscription business models is desired Mobile development is desired Strong coding experience in C++CNET (WPF is a plus) and other Windows development frameworks Has a reasonable experience coding or managing the development of a Consumer online service Experience with Java Php and the general LAMP architecture are all a plus |
