Job Description
| The ideal individual will be a member of the Server Operations Team and is expected to support and maintain a 247 customers facing and internal IT infrastructures consisting primarily of HP Cisco EMC Microsoft and VMware technologies The candidate must have the ability to work as a team member or individually to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately with minimal supervision The candidate must possess strong troubleshooting skills as well as verbal and written communications skills The Sr IT Infrastructure Administrator should be a highly motivated selfstarter who likes working and staying current with the latest technologies and take ownership of both projects and day to day responsibilities This person must be willing to work off hours weekend and oncall as required Responsibilities Install manage support and monitor bare metal and virtual systems running Microsoft andor VMware technologies Ensure optimum level of performance and availability across all critical systems Provide day to day support for all IT infrastructure operations across multiple data centers Assume various system installations maintenance and problem solving tasks Serve as a point of escalation for any IT related hardwaresoftware issues Participate in project work and designrecommendation sessions Assist engineers on recommendations for hardware and software technologies to meet business requirements Job Requirements Bachelor degree in a related IT area and minimum 3 5 years of experience is preferred in an enterprise environment Must have a strong knowledge of all major Microsoft Windows operating systems Must possess sr level expertise in VMware ESXESXi and Microsoft HyperV Must have 3 5 years working experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) EMC NetApp Must be familiar with Active Directory management HP Blade System c7000 Proliant DL and BL servers Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) B and C Series Wireless Aruba Cisco Microsoft SQL Server 20052008 in clustering environment LinuxUNIX Basic knowledge of working with Cisco routers and switches MCSE and VCP certifications are a plus Must be able to travel between local sites as needed Travel expectations within and outside US |
