| Were looking for developers that are passionate about technology Sitewire is leading interactive agency that delivers results for its clients using local mobile social and search technologies Sitewire builds cutting edge Web sites mobile Web sites mobile applications and social applications A solid process is used and sites and apps are built to last A Senior Web Developer for Sitewire is expected to do more than code all day A Senior Web Developer architects solutions mentors team members and takes on a challenging Web development projects as part of a team or completely on their own This requires solid back end development skills as well as the ability to code crossbrowser compliant front end HTML and CSS A Senior Web Developer participates as we improve our processes and stay on the leading edge of technology A Senior Web Developer is given the opportunity to learn new technologies across Sitewires offerings The following duties include but are not limited to the following Designs and codes superior technical solutions Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions Creates efficient and logical databases for clients Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Communicates and enforces coding standards Manages resources within budget and project schedule Reviews work of team Consistently delivers highquality services to clients Assists and effectively participates in team and client meetings Delivers informative wellorganized presentations Understands how to communicate difficultsensitive information tactfully Understands complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs Effectively employs many different database design techniques Demonstrates expert knowledge of at least one structured programming language (NET 4 Framework) Understands the benefits of the various programming languages Creates well designed reusable objects Understands browserspecific compatibility issues Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented environments Generates enthusiasm among team members Proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model Manages the process of innovative change Facilitates effective team interaction Acknowledges and appreciates each team members contributions Develops relationships with client personnel that foster ties with our clients Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships Manages client expectations effectively REQUIRED EXPERIENCE A minimum of 5 years Web development experience including experience coding the following technologies C NET Java andor PHP development experience MVC Framework 30 experience ASPNETJSP MS SQL experience including writing stored procedures JavaScript including frameworks such as jQuery HTML5 and CSS3 experience Experience in mobile web development and Responsive Web Design Understanding of common web application design patterns such as MVC (ModelViewController) Front Controller Command Pattern Dependency Injection Understanding of current popular browsers and how to tailor code appropriately for crossbrowser consistency Understanding Web usability best practices Understanding of Web site search optimization techniques and best practices Experience in analysis design and development of Web based applications Knowledge of Flash AS2 or AS3 Knowledge or experience with PHP Java Ruby on Rails Web site design experience (a plus but not the focus of this position) EDUCATION BS in technology field such as Information Systems Computer Science Software Engineering or related field is required Masters degree MBA or certification in project management (PMP) a plus Benefits Health short long term disability life insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) paid parking and awesome work culture Sitewire is an Equal Employment opportunity Employer |
