| IT Manager White House Utility District serves a population of 90000 with 30000 connections As the largest water district in the state geographically we serve a 600squaremile area across three counties in Tennessee We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager to manage and lead our organizations IT infrastructure operating systems and connectivity This role will be responsible for effective information management and insightful recommendations to address technology needs of the District Specific responsibilities will include monitoring and troubleshooting all information and electronic communication systems and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of information maintaining an inventory of all systems and ensuring all hardware and software are maintained to provide the most efficient and productive operations security for all systems and enforcement of security policies scheduling performing and monitoring system backups data recoveries upgrades and tasks and configuring hardware peripherals and telephones This position will also collaborate to develop and document standard technology policies and change management procedures provide resolution to requests through the help desk function and identify knowledge gaps to providecoordinate training with end users We are looking for an individual with strong organizational skills the ability to explain detailed information to a variety of end users and provide effective education the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs as well as the ability and willingness to stay current on industry trends and technology Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in a related discipline three plus years experience in a related field with integrated computer programs andor applications experience and proficiencyin the following technologies VMware vSphere Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) Exchange 2010 Exchange Server 2007 Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 DNS and related technologies Windows PowerShell 20 Experience with managing firewalls networking switches vpn wireless SANNAS experience WAN experience Strong networking and PC troubleshooting skills Symantec BackupExec Administration and support on the SCADA system (this is a plus but not required) Administration of Cisco Unified communications technologies Experience with Quest tools Active Administrator Desktop Authority Foglight is a plus Citrix This career opportunity offers very competitive pay and benefits in a positive and collaborative environment This position is located in White House TN 37188 |
