| Genica Corporation is an Internet wholesale supplier and discount retailer of computers peripherals and consumer electronics to businesses resellers and consumers Our expertise in purchasing manufacturers excess inventories closeouts off lease and outofdate products allows us to provide competitive pricing while maintaining profitability We operate three channels of distribution Evertekcom (our businesstobusiness channel that sells to dealers worldwide) Geekscom (our businesstoconsumer channel) and Computer Geeks Discount Outlet Our consolidated sales for 2012 are expected to be in the range of 110 120 million Our offices are located in beautiful Temecula California Our employees enjoy a casual work environment and competitive benefits including medical dental vision paid time off and more We are seeking a Software Developer with the following minimum abilities and qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Information Sciences or 5+ years professional web development experience working with high traffic ecommerce websites Languages preferred VBNet ASPnet XML CSS VB 6 (VBScript a plus) Experience writing wrappers for 3rd party COM objects Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Windows Server 20032008 and IIS required Experience creatingparsing XML within Vbnet code Must be familiar with MSSQL 20052008 R2 Will be expected to designcreatemaintain tables stored procedures triggers DTS packages All source code maintained in Visual SourceSafe Expected to document your code and publish documents in SharePoint Please do not respond if 1 you want to build a custom solution for us 2 you want to work from home or a remote site 3 you dont have eCommerce and web experience with a website that being frequented by hundreds of clients or 4 if you want to be a manager This is an onsite handson nonmanagement position using VBNet (we will not be using C) If you meet these qualifications and are interested please send your resume to humanresourcesgenicacom |
