| The University of Kentucky is now hiring an Enterprise Applications Group Team Member Level I Founded in 1865 as a landgrant institution adjacent to downtown Lexington UK is nestled in the scenic heart of the unique Bluegrass Region of Kentucky Recently ranked as one of the safest the most creative and the brainiest cities in the nation Lexington is an ideal location to experience the worklife balance that the University strives to provide to its employees Enterprise Applications Group Team Member Level I Requisition SF544207 University of Kentucky Enterprise Applications Group The Enterprise Applications Group (EAG) is seeking an individual to develop code test and transport through the SAP landscape newly developed custom functionality user exits BAPIs BADIs and changes to current processes Analyze new functionality requirements of the University to determine whether custom coding and programming will be required Create custom transactions and reports Create and maintain custom infotypes Implementation of user exits Create and maintain forms to be used for system processes Understand basic configuration of SLCM modules to provide redundancy of knowledge on the team Possess advanced development knowledge (ABAP) in assigned module to perform changes with limited reliance on consulting resources Troubleshoot issues in Production and replicate the problem in test environment for resolution Test and implement support packs and upgrades Proficient in debugging problems in the production system Document issues and resolutions Understand integration points and other modules within SAP Diagnose and resolve integration issues Communicate issues and development requirements within SAP Diagnose system problems including those that result from integration points within the system Analyze gaps between system functionality and University policies when policies are updated Assist in interpretation of technical specifications when changes to the system are requested Assist in creation of testing plans and testing of support packs and upgrades ABAP reporting as required Annual DRP testing Professional Development Work with end users to resolve issues with transactions and data in the production system Provide additional support to the central offices for system issues processes and reports Provide cross training within the module team to create a strong knowledge base within the team Diagnose and resolve issues that arise with standard or custom functionality Qualifications This position requires a Bachelors degree plus 2 years of related experience in information technology or the equivalent See for yourself what makes UK one great place to work To apply for requisition SF544207 a UK Employment Application must be submitted at wwwukyeduukjobs |
