Executive Director Enterprise Information Services Reporting to the Deputy Chief Information Officer the Executive Director Enterprise Information Services (ED) will be responsible for leadership and direction for the Universitys Enterprise Resource Planning Analysis Operations and Development functions The ED will manage a team of 90 and will partner with internal leaders across the University and ensure Enterprise Information Services provides proactive efficient and effective services that support the ongoing needs of the University He or she will foster a team environment with a focus on developing the team mentoring and growing future leaders within the organization The ED will help create a strong service culture that ensures delivery of timely and quality driven service to internal customers and meet customer service level agreements The ideal candidate will bring a strong base of best practices in software development and help set the vision strategy and direction for the business unit This individual will have the ability to forge relationships across the University and convey how the business unit can serve the needs of the University A key area of focus for this position will be to identify build change guide and implement efforts related to the operational effectiveness and delivery of the Universitys Enterprise Resource Systems comprised of Banner Oracle eBusiness EMC Documentum as well as Oracle Identity Manager This position is based in Ashburn Virginia with frequent travel to the Universitys Foggy Bottom campus in Washington DC Successful candidates will possess proven experience managing and mentoring a large team of IT professionals in a leadership capacity and have demonstrated experience with development integration implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning systems Candidates must have strong leadership skills and an ability to engender trust respect and credibility from others Excellent communications team building and interpersonal capabilities are required along with a Bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus nine years of relevant experience Please complete an application and submit a letter of interest and resume at the George Washington University Employment Portal at httpswwwgwujobspostings11495 The George Washington University is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer Nominations and applications from women and minorities are encouraged Apply Here httpswwwgwujobspostings11495
