Job Description
| This position is for an experienced Software Testing Manager The person will be responsible for ensuring that applications and products are tested and delivered in compliance with customer requirements and all standards and expectations are in conformance with the system development life cycle process Experience Must have minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Test Manager Must have additional 4 years of experience working as a Software Tester Combined experience in Software Testing must be at least 9 years Knowledge Required Health Care industry experience Required project management experience Must have hands on experience testing EDI Transactions (preferably Health care transactions 270271 834 837 276 etc) Must have handson experience testing Web Services Must have handson experience testing Web Portals Must have ability to write SQL Statements and understand how backend testing is performed Preferably should have knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter (for ETL) and Data Exchange console (for EDI) During the interview process candidate should be prepared to give hands on demonstration of skills mentioned above Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication Proven ability work in an extremely fast paced agile environment The ability to unbundle issues and formulate recommendations clearly attention to details technical horsepower strong technical problem solving and critical thinking are required skills Experience working with off shore resources Scope of Accountability Supervise 5 onshore and 30+ offshore consultants Review deliverables for onshoreoffshore team to ensure they meet the highest quality Utilize automation toolsscripts to achieve efficiencies for repeatable tasks |
