Job Description
| Position Summary Responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of complex data warehouse solutions which extract data from multiple source systems including PeopleSoft Finance and Human Capital Management applications using SAP Business Objects Data Services toolset and Microsoftrsquos SQL Server database toolset along with other data extraction and transformation methods as needed The Lead Architect analyzes maintains and develops reports and maintains SAPrsquos Business Objects (BOBJ) and Budgeting Planning and Consolidation (BPC) systems along with other source systems such as PeopleSoft The Lead Architect supports customersrsquo business goals assists reporting end users and Shared Services staff as needed in BOBJ and BPC operation and maintenance including development backups and disaster recovery as required to meet the information needs of the business Education Experience Bachelorrsquos Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related discipline OR a High School diploma or equivalent with appropriate certified training and experience in the requisite skill set is required Seven years system life cycle development background with SAPrsquos Business Objects suite of tools and ETL toolset (Data Services Microsoft SSIS Informatica) Solid working knowledge of SAP Business Objects Software Suite including Universe Designer Web Intelligence Explorer Xcelcius Data Integrator is required Working knowledge of data warehouse star schema and logical physical data mart design concepts built on MS SQL Server DBMS is required PeopleSoft data structure familiarity with financial applications is required Must have PeopleSoft development experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate business requirements and technical designs across all levels of Business and IT including analysts management and project stakeholders is required Must have knowledge and experience using MSOffice Professional including Word Excel Access and PowerPoint An understanding of Software Development Lifecycle is required Must have understanding of financial reporting Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have valid driverrsquos license for state of residency and be insurable through the Growth Fund vehicle insurance policy Must pass a criminal history background check and preemployment drug test |
