| SQL DeveloperAnalyst The Dallas Symphony has an exciting opportunity for a uniquely qualified for a midlevel SQL developer with diverse backoffice and desktop support experience This SQL DeveloperAnalyst will be a strategic resource working with the Database Administrator for the assessment design configuration implementation and maintenance The selected candidate will provide special project support in areas such as SQL Net VB XML and PowerShell languages Additionally the SQL Developer Analyst will collaborate with the Database Administrator in supporting and managing the Tessitura database WEB API Custom Procedures and other tasks as required Other responsibilities include performing system administrative tasks as well as supporting enduser requests Specifically the SQL DeveloperAnalystrsquos responsibilities will include administering the DSArsquos network infrastructure including Active Directory DNS Exchange Windows Servers VMware virtual production environment (sizing guest creation alerts patches SAN) collaborating with the Database Administrator in supporting and managing the Tessitura database WEB API Custom Procedures and report writing writing custom code to implement WEB functionality with CRM API Google analytics custom WEB functions monitoring remediating and documenting PCI Compliance managing backoffice applications in implementation and support (MOSS OTRS Symantec) supporting Remote Desktop Deployment (Terminal Services) infrastructure assisting in the planning design documentation and implementation of various systems to include desktop PCrsquos servers network equipment and software applications monitoring planning and coordinating the distribution of server software and service packs developing maintaining and monitoring procedures for all server and application backups (in conjunction with Database Administrator where applicable) providing ancillary support for reporting services using TSQL and SSRS providing technical training and services to nontechnical staff members administering Nortel Option 11 phone switch and related physical components Call Pilot Application Builder (phone tree) and Symposium applications managing and administering internal webbased applications and processes utilizing common tools and practices including but not limited to web design ASPNETHTML programming administering network security including Firewall appliance spam virus filters Security applications providing technical analysis and support to external web agencies in the support of Tessitura API including project definition design and supplementary code as needed providing multimedia support (such as audio video editing) interactive marketing materials and technical support for digital signage systems identifying designing and creating custom applications for internal use to realize efficiencies cost savings and new business processes evaluating and implementing mobile access technologies such as VPN and other duties as needed The successful candidate will have a Bachelorrsquos degree in a related field two to three years of experience in SQL and desktop support and a MCSA certification with a MSCE certification preferred A willingness to collaborate a professional and approachable demeanor and a commitment to enduser customer service are all highly valued qualities in the ideal candidate To apply please submit your resume salary requirements and cover letter to recruiterdalsymcom mailtorecruiterdalsymcom No phone call please EOEWe value diversity in our workforce |
