Job Description
| The primary responsibility of the Sr Clinical Systems Specialist is to analyze the clinical information needs of the Hospital design or investigate new clinical systems and to maintain and support clinical applications throughout the Hospital Under the direction of the Clinical Applications Integrations Team Lead the Sr Clinical Systems Specialist Acts as a liaison to system users to analyze their needs and implement user requests Designs clinical systems for various departments and user groups throughout the Hospital Troubleshoots and resolves system and applications issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements Documents manual process flows for automation Develop and deliver system training for user groups Create associated training materials Position Requirements Bachelors Degree in Health Care or Information Systems or a minimum 57 years related work experience A minimum three (3) years systems analysis experience with a preference for the Cerner System in a health care environment Previous Clinical Decision Support skills strongly preferred Experience with Hospital quality and safety measures Strong analytical verbal and written communications skills Ability to communicate technical problems to nontechnical staff Strong customer service and problem solving skills required Requires occasional weekend and night time work |
