| Pharmacy Providers of Oklahoma (PPOk) is an Oklahoma City based company focused on providing independent pharmacies across the country with a wide range of services designed to solve business challenges PPOk is searching for a Senior Software Developer to work under general direction of the Software Development Manager to formulate and define system scope and objectives As a Senior Software Developer you will create solutions to complex problems considering urgency cost alternatives equipment capacity and limitations and desired results You will serve as solution architectdeveloper on business driven projects using windows and web technologies (NET C SQL Server) Primary Duties Responsibilities Responsible for the overall architecture and technical design and integration of large scale applications Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle Provide leadership and mentoring to other software developers Develop new applications to support business unit needs Ensure application completeness and correctness by using approved testing methods Maintain and fix bugs in existing applications Gather and refine project requirements through interaction with application owners Define estimate and assign development tasks to team of software developers Create and maintain program documentation Conduct peer code reviews to ensure applications fulfill project requirements Perform revision repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements Report status issues and timelines to management staff and project teams Qualifications Knowledge Skills Abilities Expert level knowledge of HTML XAML CSS JavaScript Experience with Microsoft Technologies (SQL Server 2008 R2 C and NET Framework 30 35 40) Strong OOP understanding and design ASPNET MVC4 JavaScript libraries (jQuery Knockout Sencha etc) ORM (Entity Framework NHibernate) A professional polished demeanor Strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to perform problem resolution and recommend application improvements Ability to grow and maintain effective team and business relationships Demonstrated ability for delivering quality work in a timely manner Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic business environment Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision (selfstarter) Education Work Experience required Minimum Requirements Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems Engineering or equivalent experience Advanced experience developing software for various purposes Minimum of 5 years of experience Preferred Pharmacy industry knowledge |
