| Reports to Applications Developer Manager Department Applications Development Location Conshohocken PA Managers Investment Group offers institutionalquality investment strategies across most asset classes using some of the finest investment firms from around the world We offer these strategies as singleassetclass components as well as complete investment solutions Our wide range of mutual fund and separate account strategies are primarily sold to financial intermediaries across the US Qualified candidates are invited to apply for this position in our Conshohocken PA office JOB SUMMARY Hands on NetSQL development position for applications ECM reporting OLAP and systems integration in a financial services backoffice environment Opportunity to learn and develop SharePoint solutions CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Maintainingenhancing portfolio of Net applications Building out workflow report distribution document collaboration and document management solutions in SharePoint Providing systems integration solutions for 3rd party systems as part of the firmrsquos central data management initiative ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintenance and enhancement of current Net 40 web applications (vbnet and c) Development of collaborative and document management solutions in SharePoint Development of web parts custom forms and workflows in SharePoint Report development Development of applicationsutilities for system integration End user assistance troubleshooting and system administration duties as required KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES 3+ yearsrsquo experience with Net web development (VBNETCASPNET ndash 40) Experience with JavaScript HTML CSSAJAXXML Experience with SQL Server 2008 or later stored procedures SSIS SSRS database administration SSAS is a plus Knowledge of relational database design object oriented design and Agile methodology Experience with SharePoint 2010 is a plus Experience with SAP Business Objects a plus Solid development background as well as the flexibility to tackle whatever softwaretechnology project that occurs Experience with pivot table features of Excel 2007 and higher Experience with IIS Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) business analysis design development testing and deployment Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and workflow experience is a plus Strong written and oral communication skills Able to effectively communicate with end users and write clear and concise specifications Experience with participating in business analysis activities enduser trainingassistance and system administration tasks Excels in a fastpaced environment while meeting deadlines and executing responsibilities with minimal errors EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science Information Science or related field 35 years of experience in programming and relational database design SharePoint 2010 development experience a plus Experience in a mutual fund administration or financial services environment a plus |
