| POSITION SUMMARY An integral part of a small core development group responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable multithreading and multitiered trading applications and infrastructure This individual will help lead the architecture and development of nextgeneration trading applications The main responsibilities will include finishing the features set on existing code base followed by architecture design and implementation of new trading system SKILLS REQUIRED Expert knowledge of C++ Expert Communicator ndash easily contributes to the sharing of knowledge and concepts within the team Proven Leadership strategic management qualities within a professional team environment Critical Thinker uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems Complex Problem Solver identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement architecturalalgorithmic solutions Active Learning ndash understands and accepts the implications of new information provided by team for both current and future problemsolving and decisionmaking Troubleshooting determines causes of operating errors and designs fixes QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Math graduate degree preferred Math and Statistics background a plus Experience with algorithmic trading a plus At least 5 years handson development experience with C++ Scripting with Bash Perl Python preferred Experience with full lifecycle deployment is preferred Selfmotivated with a strong work ethic Must be a teamoriented leader |
