| Seeking a Junior to MidLevel Developer to join our team About Polaris Polaris Solutions LLC provides consulting services for the life science industry with clients including many of the largest global pharmaceutical companies as well as other pharmaceutical medical device and biotech firms Polaris is a small yet rapidly growing company with an entrepreneurial culture and members with experience from top consulting firms (eg Accenture Boston Consulting Group Deloitte) and pharmaceutical firms (eg Pfizer Merck) Polaris Solutions offers a series of specialty webbased applications which are configured and customized based on the requirements of our clients Polaris hosts the applications in a SoftwareasaService (SaaS) model and their clients sign hosting support and software licensing agreements These solutions offer industry and client specific forms and workflows related to data collection request approval and audit capabilities for the pharmaceutical industry The systems on average host around 500 unique external users and service up to 10000 requests per year Learn more about us at httpwwwpolarismanagementcomindexaspx httpwwwpolarismanagementcomindexaspx Overview The Developer will work directly with project teams and will have opportunities to work in fastpaced agile environment with cutting edge technologies updating and challenging your skill set familiarize and gaining handson experience with latest design development patterns The Developer will be responsible for design analysis development and implementation of upgradenew data driven web based applications Strong TransactSQL and CNET programming are required The senior programmer should be able to work independently and within a team of developers to deliver endtoend solutions for moderate to complex projects the candidate should be able to define and implement the software development life cycle utilizing existing development and source code version control procedures General Responsibilities Develop test and implement new applications Analyze enhance and customize current applications Maintenance of current applications Support quality assurance testing and production installations Create analysis design and test documents Provide technical support to internal consultants working on client projects Interface with clients to gather and document business and system requirements Provide customer support as and when required General Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience masters degree preferred At least 13 years of experience in using ASPNET for developing InternetIntranet based applications Experience in interfacing with corporate IT systems preferred but not required Strong software development skills for webbased and ntier applications Experienced in the analysis and design of middletier components Experienced in the various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) A good understanding about object oriented analysis design and development Experienced in the analysis development maintenance and documentation of business requirements Web technologies experience ASPNET (35 40) C HTML CSS VB Script Java Script DHTML required XMLXSL preferred Databases Experienced in database programming in SQL Server (2000200320052008) using TSQL Data Transformation Systems preferred(DTS) Familiarity with ORM technologies a plus (Entity Framework NHibernate) Experience with AJAX controls and 3rd party controls a plus (Telerik Component Art Infragistics or similar) Oracle and PLSQL experience is a plus (not required) Development Tools Microsoft Visual StudioNET Operating System experience Windows 20032008 Programming languages needed CNET Java Script TSQL Web Servers IIS 6 7 Physical and Location Requirements Ability to work in the office on a regular basis Upon job offer applicant must be able to pass background check and drug test |
