| JOB DESCRIPTION Police and Fire Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Level Network Engineer The Sr Network Engineer is responsible for the operation performance and availability of the Credit Unionrsquos core network throughout the organization The Sr Network Engineer is also responsible for handling network and systems projects of all levels of complexity We are looking for an individual who can work independently and interact with staff using the technology JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Network Engineer will manage and support PFFCUrsquos core WAN and LAN routing switching and security infrastructure Specific Senior Network Engineer duties Administer and support PFFCUrsquos core infrastructure (Cisco routers HP ProCurve Switches Checkpoint firewalls and Load balancers) guaranteeing performance and reliability Monitor and maintain network security appliances under the direction of the VP of Security to insure the integrity of all systems from both internal and external entities Proactively monitor network performance and utilization and provide recommendations for improvement upgrades and expansion Accurately document current and future network configuration and changes following PFFCUrsquos change control guidelines Develop a working knowledge of the business side of PFFCU and be able to effectively interface with staff using the technology JOB REQUIREMENTS The Senior Network Engineer position requires an individual that must be able to work independently and interact with staff using the technology Specific Senior Network Engineer requirements Education and Experience ndash BS in Computer Science or equivalent related experience 10 years experience in network and systems support Demonstrated experience supporting multisite WAN Strong working knowledge of layer 3 networks including redundancy and advanced routing protocols including but not limited to BGP HSRP OSPF EIGRP SIP and MPLS Ability to meet deadlines and concurrently manage multiple projects Demonstrate effective business and technical communication skills Desired Additional Skills Cisco Certification ndash CCDE CCIE or Cisco Certified Architect Check Point Certification Company Overview Police and Fire Federal Credit Union is a financial institution with 4 billion in total assets 200000 members and over 500 employees The Credit Unions main office is located at 901 Arch Street in Philadelphia with nine additional branch locations spread throughout Philadelphia and Bucks county areas This position is located at 901 Arch Street Philadelphia PA 19107 If you possess the qualifications above please forward your resume with Salary Requirements to Human Resources at 901 Arch Street Philadelphia PA 19107 or Fax your resume to 2159312398 or Email to networkanalystpffcuorg You can also visit our web site at wwwpffcuorg httpwwwpffcuorg to apply online No phone calls please No Third Party contacts please Philadelphia metro area residents are strongly preferred Contact Information Company Police and Fire Federal Credit Union Contact Human Resources Email networkanalystpffcuorg Address 901 Arch Street Philadelphia PA 19107 Fax 2159312398 PFFCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action Employer |
