| Competitive salary excellent benefits good location (2 blocks to Lake Merritt BART) Overview Alameda County IT is hiring Systems Analysts for PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS Our current environment supports PeopleSoft HRMS 90 PeopleSoft Financials 90 and PeopleTools 849 running on SQL Server 2005 Our Development environment consists of SQR App Engine PeopleCode and Crystal Reports The PeopleSoft HRMS Financials Support Team is engaged in development and implementation and upgrade of new PeopleSoft modules and ongoing daily maintenance of PeopleSoft system The positions are in direct support of PeopleSoft systems and modules specifically HR Payroll Benefits Administration Time Labor eBenefits and ePay As part of the PeopleSoft team these positions serve as functional and technical resources for PeopleSoft development projects architect design creative solutions to complex business problems working closely with business owners and users Need to possess proficiency in upgrading developing modifying and supporting existing PeopleSoft menus pages components records tables and modifications Job Duties include Analysis of Systems programming activities Manage their work activities Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Interface with functional resources and users to design code and test solutions for complex business requirements or problems QualificationsRequirements Candidates need to possess the equivalent of a minimum of four years of fulltime increasingly responsible experience in systems analysis and programming Experience must include two years in systems analysis and design and two years of programming in at least one of the programming languages and tools used by Alameda County ITD PeopleSoft experience must include a minimum of two years of working in PeopleSoft systems programming with SQR SQL Server PS Query PeopleTools PeopleCode App Designer Crystal and nVision Experience with PeopleSoft version 89 or higher preferred Demonstrated strong understanding and application of crossfunctional project management principles Ability to analyze processing problems develop and evaluate alternatives Develop work plans and set target dates Develop reasonable cost and time estimates Skilled at communicating technical concepts on problem solutions to users in an effective manner Ability to write clear programming specifications Ability to work effectively with staff and representatives from user departments Skilled at utilizing Microsoft Office productivity tools Excel Word Project Visio PowerPoint Outlook Sharepoint TO APPLY Please go to the County website at httpwwwacgovorghrs complete the application template and submit it for the job listing under Current Employment Opportunities |
