| Have you ever thought about having a job in a place where camping fishing and skiing are 15 minutes away where you do something new and challenging at your job everyday and where you can still afford a home on an acreage How about a place that people from around the world come to visit and tell you how beautiful it is Where you have a say in the direction of the company and what you do Thought about being at a company that has been around awhile and bases its decisions on providing secure jobs for families highquality work for our clients and not on pumping up stock prices Have you heard of ZaneRay We are a small but growing company located in Whitefish Montana in the Flathead Valley home of Whitefish Mountain Resort Glacier National Park Flathead Lake and a few million acres of outdoor beauty We currently have an opening for a UNIX Systems Administrator for Web Operations to work at our offices in Whitefish We have a great collection of greybeard gurus as well as next generation talent which provides great opportunities for professional growth At ZaneRay our team works on interesting projects for great clients We try to live the life of working hard and playing harder We are passionate about the work we do as well as the place we live At ZaneRay we typically have more demand for our services than we have resources to provide so ZaneRay is always expanding and looking for the right team members to help grow our team We take hiring seriously We dont hire employees to meet an existing deadline we hire employees when we feel have work for them indefinitely Our low turnover is one of our strengths both as an employer and consultant For many of our clients we are able to provide continuity through generations of their employees Job Requirements At least 5 years of experience with systems administration in a web hosting environment Would be very nice to have experience with J2EE web technologies (Resin Tomcat Jetty etc) Extensive networking debug and optimization skills including Windows Active Directory Samba 34 VLAN Firewalls and UTM devices Experience with Linux security including PCI compliance Web application firewalls and server intrusion detection Experience with distributed file systems Experience with Perl Python and various Unix shells Experience with RHEL clusters high availability fencing remotesite clustering and database clustering a big plus Experience with a virtualization technology such as VMWare Xen or KVM Redhat and Cisco certifications a big plus Participate in monthly offhours system maintenance Sharedrotated pager duty oncall 247 availability Selfstarter that can operate with minimal supervision and drama Salary 60 ndash 90 DOE with benefits and lots of extras |
