| Job Summary Responsible for supporting the SQL Server databases and ensuring their performance availability and security bull Design implement and optimize database(s) bull Proficient in TSQL understanding logic of stored procedures triggers functions and inline SQL queries bull Manage the release process for database environments bull Support data manipulation generation and cleanup requirements bull Manage evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle bull Participate in a 247365 oncall rotation Essential Duties bull MS SQL programming and functional knowledge bull MS SQL server 20052008 administration and development bull Replication Services bull Database Modeling bull Data Quality concepts bull Performance Tuning bull Analysis Services Administration bull SSIS and SSRS Configuration and Administration bull Clustering Database Mirroring and other High Availability implementations bull Excellent organizational communication analytical and interpersonal skills bull Ability to juggle multiple projects tasks bull Excellent organizational skills bull Strong documentation skills and attention to detail bull Demonstrated experience with software development process and release management Demonstrate the ability to bull Work as a key contributor in a productive team bull Take on responsibilities and handle multiple tasks bull Be a selfstarter independent and proactive bull Learn quickly in a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments in a timely manner Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms and talk or hear The employee is frequently required to stand and walk The employee must regularly lift andor move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift andor move up to 25 pounds Knowledge Skills Demonstrate the ability to bull Work as a key contributor in a productive team bull Take on responsibilities and handle multiple tasks bull Be a selfstarter independent and proactive bull Learn quickly in a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments in a timely manner Education Experience bull Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or equivalent bull 5+ years of experience in a software development environment bull 5+ years of experience as a database developer or database administrator bull 5+ years of MS SQL Server experience bull NET experience bull MLM experience highly desired bull Knowledge and experience with Dynamics GP a plus bull Knowledge and experience with MySQL a plus bull Understand and able to maintain PCI compliance a plus bull Management Experience a plus |
