| Associate Systems Manager Summary of Position The Associate Systems Manager is a member of the team responsible for the support and maintenance of the Colleges various systems This position identifies supports and develops creative solutions addressing the technological needs of the College Reports To Senior Administrative Systems Manager Duties and Responsibilities Aid in administering maintaining and supporting the Colleges various systems such as Banner Blackboard Raisers Edge Argos reporting Oracle MSSQL Onecard Keyscan and Payroll systems running on Windows Coordinate the implementation of solutions that integrate multiple hardware and software technologies in a networked environment Manage OS upgrades and create SQL scripting and scripts for various OS shells Work closely with other members of Computer Services and the community to ensure the integrity security backup and efficiency of the core database applications Develop and maintain interfaces between multiple administrative applications Use SQL and Oracle tools to develop reports on an ad hoc basis Troubleshoot problems with applications and processes Document projects and share information with team members and administrators Provide courteous responsive service to the College community Comply with College computing standards Able to work independently as well as in a team or group Other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelors degree in a technology related area such as computer science computer information systems (CIS) management information systems (MIS) or software engineering Experience with Oracle and Banner system administration is preferred knowledge of other campus systems is a plus Enthusiasm for learning new tools in new computing environments Ability to work closely with a wide range of people with varying skill levels Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Strong problemsolving skills The College of Mount Saint Vincent is an academically excellent authentically inclusive Catholic and ecumenical liberal arts college with approximately 1300 undergraduate students and 225 graduate students located in the Riverdale section of New York City Our beautiful 70acre campus of rolling lawns and wooded hills overlooking the Hudson River is just 12 miles from midtown Manhattan AAEOE College of Mount Saint Vincent is committed to provide equal opportunity employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals The College of Mount Saint Vincent does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race color religion gender sexual orientation national origin age disability marital status amnesty or any other characteristic protected by Federal State or Local Laws |
