| Business Systems Analyst Job Summary Be a partner for the nontechnology groups to assist them in the definition documentation training maintenance and enhancement of complex ERP business applications Provide business requirements and process improvement analysis user training and systems implementation and integration expertise in support of Reiserrsquos overall business requirements Principal Duties Responsibilities Learn and demonstrate working knowledge of Reiserrsquos company operations and systems Identify user training requirements and develop easy to use training material and provide handson training Perform business process improvements assessments and identify and implement solutions Act as main point of contact between the users and the various ERP software providers Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all system user groups Identify and define IT projects related to specific applications to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Reiser Work tasks may include the following Perform feasibility studies that culminate in business proposals including alternate approaches cost benefits resource requirements task dependencies and timing Evaluates application software packages and makes recommendations for management Manage project status reporting and conducts userteam status meetings Develop and streamline system generated reports Monitor and analyze data to verify data integrity Identify ways that the system can be adapted to improve efficiency of business processes Requirements The successful candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the workflow behind the distribution cycle of a midsized company and be wellversed in enterprise application software databases and user support Other requirements are as follows 6+ years direct experience supporting and administering midsized transactional systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present and explain technical information to a nontechnical audience IT applications implementation experience Strong analytical problem solving and project management skills Strong skills using Microsoft Windows and Office Suite of Applications Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of employees Selfmotivated with the ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage changing priorities Bachelorsrsquo degree Flexible attitude willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours as needed Experience with Prelude system is ideal Experience with network administration hardware or desktop support would be helpful About Reiser With over 50 years of experience in the food equipment industryRobertReiser Co Inc is recognized worldwide for its highquality equipment and outstanding service We take great pride in supplying our customers with the best possible solutions to their needs We have enjoyed strong growth over recent years and are currently seeking a handson Business Systems Analyst This is the key person for our transactional system as well as for IT initiatives across the company This position will be based in ourCantonMassachusettsheadquarters Reiseroffers a terrific benefits package that includes health dental life and disability insurance an excellent 401(k) with company match and a generous vacation policy |
