| IT Operations Tech I El Camino Hospital Mountain View CA Whatever it takes for our patients and our community To deliver exceptional care you need more than talent You need the right resources dependable support and the drive to dedicate as much focus to your own professional growth as your patients deserve in your commitment to them Its only with these combined factors that you can truly apply your special brand of care to patients to help them grow stronger and heal faster The IT Operations Technician is a member of the Operations Group within Technical Services Heshe is responsible for operating and monitoring systems in a clientserver networked environment in accordance with established routines within a 24x7x365 highavailability healthcare environment The candidate ddresses defined technical issues identified through ongoing monitoring and reporting from systems Heshe escalates and works with other members of Technical Services as required for issue resolution outside of those that can be handled directly Heshe is responsible for scheduled reporting operational tasks such as files transmissions and support activities to manage technical systems and applications The IT Operations Tech may take Help Desk responsibilities as necessary or act as a secondary level support for Help Desk for certain problem resolution concerning system operations Heshe will have daily interaction with system users Applications Analysts Technicians Engineers and other members of Information Technology on the daytoday operations of the technical environment As the Operations Group operates 24x7x365 the Operations Technician will be required to work a variety of shifts weekends and holidays as scheduled This position is 8hour shifts 400 pm 1230 am Wednesday Sunday May be filled by a Tech I or Tech II depending on applicants qualfications and experience Requirements Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field AND 2 years of relevant experience OR High School graduate with four years of relevant operations experience in Information Technology Understanding of clientserver computing and basic networking topology Ability to troubleshoot network attached clients and peripherals Well versed in using and supporting Microsoft Windows Word Excel and Outlook Working knowledge of various software applications and hardware systems including operation of desktops laptops and thin clients Must be able to work varied shifts andor additional hours When you join our teams at either our Los Gatos or Mountain View location youll witness firsthand how our commitment to optimal patient outcomes is supported by our dedication to providing you with everything you need to be your best Youll find this commitment everywhere from our Mountain View hospitals Magnet designation and stateoftheart facilities to our collaborative culture and highly competitive pay and benefits packages Our legacy of care is supported by the belief that providing the best to our patients begins by providing great opportunities to our healthcare providers We do whatever it takes to help you grow in your career so that you can better serve those who rely on you for care Discover a new level of success with a career at El Camino Hospital Apply for open positions at wwwelcaminohospitalorgjobs and search for requisition number 047810 EOEAA |
