Job Description
| This Senior SharePoint Application Developer position works independently to develop implement and maintain complex technology solutions in SharePoint 2010 Platform Responsibilities Gather business requirement documents (BRD) from users Translate Business Requirements into technical specifications Work from technical specifications to independently develop modify and maintain complex software products Create Training Documents to aid users in using the applications designed in SharePoint Analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation Perform Tier Two Production Support as required Provide status updates to management Leads designcode reviews architecture discussions and infrastructure reviews Mentors staff Assigns work and directs staff in the production of work product Manages interactions with external vendors Directly interacts with internal customers and manages customer expectations Formulates and manages system scope objectives and cost for assigned projects EducationExperience Requires Bachelors degree in technical discipline (computer science engineering or MIS) (equivalent work experience may be considered) Must have extensive hands on experience with SharePoint Application Development in SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 Overall must have 8+ years in IT Industry in Software Application Development Knowledge Requires expert knowledge of software development life cycle methodology Requires knowledge of relational database management systems and SharePoint 20072010 Demonstrates understanding of core business functions Demonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problem Skills and Abilities Requires demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint application programming Requires proficiency in SQL VB Net Java Script SharePoint 20072010 Nintex Quest Webparts Doc Ave Tool Excellent oral and written communication skills Requires excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Requires excellent organizational and time management skills Requires ability to lead multiple tasks Prefers hands on experience with IBM Rational Suite Requires proficiency in MS Office tools including Visio and Project Requires ability to lead globally distributed team May be called upon to perform production support or system rollouts on nights and weekends |
