| Blood Systems is looking for a Database Administrator to join its talented IT team at our Corporate Office in Scottsdale AZ This position is responsible for administering activities related to various databases and database applications in the development QA and production environments In addition this position is responsible for database application security integrity and ensuring 247 availability The successful candidate will work with a crosssection of internal IT organizations including other database administrators systems analysts developers and end users The successful candidate will have A Bachelorrsquos degree or professional database certification and five years of related experience is required OR Without Bachelors degree ten years of related experience is required Additional Skills Preferred Minimum of 5 years as an Oracle Applications Database Administrator with experience supporting 11510 and R12 EBusiness upgrade experience from 11510 to R12 Strong Oracle EBusiness R12 experience in patching cloning system administration and maintenance Strong Oracle Database experience in 11gR2 under Linux Platform administration upgrades design and development Must have the experience supporting multiple Oracle EBusiness environmentsdatabases Strong experience in Linux shell scripting Strong experience in implementing backup and disaster recovery methods Strong experience with tools such as OEM Oracle ADI XML Publisher and Workflow Strong knowledge in SQL tuning and Database performance tuning Proven diagnostic problem solving and solution development capabilities required Strong knowledge of WeblogicOracle SOADiscoverer Knowledge of Oracle EBusiness tables and table relationships is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Blood Systems offers excellent benefits competitive salary 401(k) and more To be considered for the position please send your resume via email to jobsbloodsystemsorg mailtojobsbloodsystemsorg ATTN HR2012108 Resumes must be received by 01252013 Preemployment drug test and background check required EOE MFDV |
