A leading company in the clinical information systems sector has an excellent opportunity for an IT Specialist with experience in the health care information technology field to perform software application installations and configurations for clients from defining infrastructure through go-live. And, to coordinate activities pursuant to the assigned Project Manager and set time lines to meet go-live. Responsibilities: - Responds to customer concerns regarding hardware or networking issues they may be facing. - Performs necessary installation and configuration activities enabling customer implementations (i.e. gGastro, gPM, Rcopia, Hylafax, Video Capture, Referring Physician, Vital Signs, and Patient Portal) - Travels to client site for advanced troubleshooting when necessary - Tests hardware (cables, video capture cards, card scanners, vital signs) internally to be approved for future release - Prepares client servers including: Finalizing windows installations, installing SQL server, and installing IIS - Uses the Knowledgebase to search for support articles - Provide Technical direction and support as new products are developed and released to support team - Documents, update, close tickets in CRM software for effective client management - Updates client profile information in CRM - Updates Hardware/Networking Production data to alert accounting of gGastro installations - Communicates necessary changes to customer*s hardware, software, and networking environment when necessary - Performs benchmarking on all new client servers - Manage, communicate internal/external the process and perform server migrations - Prepares, ships, & manage conversion boxes and process - Resolves customer errors where appropriate and applicable - Requests immediate attention from other team members when a customer is facing an emergency - Updates appropriate team members on expected time frames for issue resolution - Re-routes cases, activities, and tasks to other departments when appropriate - Other duties as assigned Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Proficient in Windows XP and Windows 7; Microsoft Office Suite, VPN Clients and Remote access software, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008, SQL Server, TeamworkPM, Heat(CRM), - Knowledge of : Contract Management systems - Windows XP, Windows 7 +, 2003, 2208 etc., Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on: Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and SQL Server - Proficient with Remote Connectivity Methods such as Virtual Private Network, Logmein, and Remote Display (Desktop) Protocol - Communicate and execute on all required application usage of TeamworkPM, Heat, Adobe Connect, and miscellaneous packages deemed necessary by Management To Apply: Send resume in MS Word
