| HealthPlus of Michigan has an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our leading health insurance organization The Desktop Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of desktop images and applications The focus of this position is to automate and streamline our desktop environment to ensure consistent and up to date configurations This includes the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Operating System security and application installs updates and patches throughout the environment To be considered a qualified candidate an applicant must meet one of the following Paths Path A Three (3) yearsrsquo experience in local area network and PC support An Associatersquos degree in Computer Science or related major with an A+ Certification OR a combination of two industry standard (CompTIA Microsoft Novell) certifications (to be approved by management) OR Path B Five (5) yearsrsquo experience in desktop support in a local area network High school education or equivalent with an A+ Certification and another industry standard (CompTIA Microsoft Novell Dell HP etc) certification (to be approved by management) HealthPlus of Michigan offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical dental vision and life insurance We also offer a 401(k) with employermatching contributions Qualified applicants please submit a cover letter that states this position along with a resume HealthPlus is an Equal Opportunity Employer Qualified minorities women people with disabilities and military veterans are encouraged to apply |
