| A passion for the customer and the customer experience This position reporting to the CIO is responsible for the creation enhancement and support of the Associationrsquos services that give our customers a superior experience and enhances the Brandrsquos image These services include the flagship web site and all Association websites social networking collaboration wikipedia intranet extranet enterprise applications as well as capabilities including single sign on ecommerce portals microsite and more The Director leads a team of internal professionals and external service providers creating and developing technologies and content to meet the needs of the Association Keywords Web 20 Collaboration Portal Social Network Direct Transform Change ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Directs the development creation implementation and operations of web services that enhance the Association memberrsquos experience and create a superior experience Directs the development and support of the enterprise applications including Microsoft Dynamics SharePoint portal and more Collaborates with stakeholders to vision opportunities for the Association to better utilize Web 20 and similar technologies to improve Association capabilities Technology Evangelist for leveraging the Internet to provide transformative capabilities to the Association and its constituents and customers Responsible for building a cohesive technology web services back end infrastructure capabilities to support current and future business needs Drives a solution set (common approach) of capabilities across entities and departments to leverage investments and opportunities Leads organized and coaches team of technical professionals in developing delivering and supporting the Associations evergrowing portfolio of web services capabilities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education bullBachelors or better degree in business marketing creative design or technology areas desirable but may substitute work experience for degree Relevant Work Experience bull10+ years overall information technology experience with at least five years or more supervisory experience in managing people projects and budgets desirable Relevant Skills and Knowledge bullExperienced in implementing Web 20 technologies and concepts bullExperience in developing or leading development of capabilities to provide a superior experience on all computing platforms including PCrsquos Macs tablets and smartphones bullMicrosoft SharePoint Active Directory bullAdobe or Apple Creative Suites for web applications bullMicrosoft Windows XP and 7 bullApple Macintosh OS X 108 and iOS 6 bullGoogle Android 4 (ice cream sandwich) Core Competencies bullSolutioncentered mindsetmdashcreative flexible persistent passionate and skilled in thinking about the customer and customer experience over the web sees opportunities to be different ndash in a good wayhellip bullKaleidoscopic thinkingmdashable to visualize problems from multiple angles and able to make connections and patterns from seemingly unconnected things to drive breakthrough thinking and visioning for themselves their team and the customer Visualizes what can be not just what is and is able to convey that vision bullFullSpectrum engagementmdashable to balance and manage competing priorities persuade inspire and garner support across the organization Knows when and with whom to gain support infectious energy and positive outlook matches approach to audience while still driving to results bullMastermind collaborationmdashbrings people together to get results and to make something greater than any one person can make alone uncovers and leverages contributions of others to drive results bullSuper value creationmdashable to develop growth platforms that build brand and transform market position views results with neutrality rather than an agenda enabling driving to deeper bigger insights that can be turned into new actions |
