Job Description
| Under supervision of the Manager of IT Applications plan administer perform and control systems analysis design development and implementation for clientserver web and mobile applications leadperform and document IT development and maintenance projects throughout the lifecycle business process and business requirements analyses detailed systems design and diagrams technical specifications programming and testing ensure application security and auditing coordinate vendor and consultant activities effectively coordinate with database network and other IT Infrastructure personnel train and instruct programmers and end user staff supervise staff develop procedures templates and forms to guide applications development and maintenance and participate effectively as a lead in backup and recovery activities and disaster recovery planning Strong experience and skills in IT project management and the full system development life cycle (in Windows and LINUX environments) systems analysis handson programming (such as Java HTML XML SQL PHP MS Visual Studio Visual Basic) testing and documentation coaching IT staff developing user training materials and training users leading multiple projects and teams concurrently flexible and able to work at a fast pace financial systems experience a plus and ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere in an appropriate manner of behavior that ensures cooperation and effective communication with customers clients peers staff and management HMFA provides a comprehensive benefit program which includes the following health dental and prescription drug plans vision care deferred compensation plans Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) personal sick and vacation days tuition reimbursement and paid holidays Residency in the State of New Jersey is required of all employees with an agency of the State in accordance with the New Jersey First Act NJSA 52147 (L 2011 Chapter 70) |
