| SpectraLink Corporation a wireless solutions company focusing on DECT WiFi and proprietary mobile communications has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Database Engineer SpectraLink was recently spun off into its own company in December 2012 from a division within Polycom The company is located in Westminster CO however will be moving to Boulder CO projected date April 2013 Below is the information regarding this opportunity Manufacturing Database Engineer with SQL Location Westminster COmoving to Boulder CO April 2013 Dept Wireless Operations Report to Product Engineering Manager The successful candidate will work in a fast paced manufacturing environment as a member of a team that is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our global manufacturing test system This position involves both learning the existing test and configuration system and evolving it to meet future needs Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learn maintain develop and configure all test databases distributed across multiple global manufacturing locations Perform database management activities for both production and development systems Identify issues research solutions propose alternatives and implement solutions Work with Engineering and Contract Manufacturer to troubleshoot and resolve issues Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Demonstrates enthusiasm to learn and shares expertise with the team Flexible self directed and able to work effectively on more than one project simultaneously Communication and Teamwork Interacts with peers across projects Solicits and accepts the ideas of others as well as actively contributes to an environment conducive to open communication Effectively presents complex technical informationanalysis and responds to questions from technical staff members and management Takes initiative to influence team decisions andor outcomes sharing expertise with team Works cooperatively and effectively within a team environment to achieve common goals and results Supports and facilitates within and across projects Initiates and takes ownership of tasks to ensure team results are achieved Qualifications BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Database programming and administration experience is required SQL experience is required Microsoft Visual studio experience is desired Manufacturing environment background is desired SpectraLink offers a competitive wage and a generous benefits package along with an atmosphere that promotes excitment hard work and a winning attitude If interested in this opportunity please forward your resume cover letter along with your salary history to recruitingspectralinkcom mailtorecruitingspectralinkcom EOE |
