We are a multioffice IT firm with offices in NY and NJ Our client base is primarily concentrated in the NY and NJ area with satellite offices spread all throughout the United States Our techs enjoy a warm friendly (and fattening) environment where they can enjoy the challenges and excitement of the latest cuttingedge technology Our generous benefits package includes Health (optional) paid vacation paid holidays paid sick days and more We are seeking two top notch individuals to join our centralized IT department in Brooklyn NY We currently have openings for a Level II and Level III analyst Your primary duties would be Help Desk assistance supporting our large client base Environments include Attorneys Drs Offices Accounting Firms Real Estate companies and more mostly via phone using remote control tools and occasional onsite visits Our client base has a plethora of different environments so Windows servers LAN WAN and infrastructure will be you responsibilities You will also be involved with new projects as they come along and have the opportunity to expand your skill set By joining our centralized support team you will become involved in all areas of IT support over time We are always looking to improve the methods we use to support our clients and increase the value of IT to our users We would expect you to assist in this endeavor Our current desktopuser environments consist of the following so experience in these areas is a must XP Windows 7 MS Office 2003 2007 2010 Dell Servers Desktops Laptops and HP Printers LAN and Internet connectivity (DSL and cable) and Wireless Blackberry iOS device setup and maintenance Antivirus protection Updating and maintaining firm IT procedures and help desk material An ideal candidate should also have experience in some of these technologies we currently have deployed AD Exchange Terminal Services Web Access WSUS High Availability and Load Balancing VMware vSphere Hypervisor Sonicwall firewalls Sonicwall SSL VPN Sonicwall Wireless access points Netgear Routers VoIP phone experience a plus Job Requirements 3+ years experience in related activity College or IT trade school degree A+ Net+ MCSE Cisco or related certifications a plus The ideal candidate must have strong organizational and communications skills along with good customer relationship skills A large percentage of help desk support will be over the phone using remote control tools A professional appearance (business casual) attention to detail and meticulous follow up skills are also required You will be working in our NY location (NJ office also an option if preferred) but some local travel is required within approximately a 100 mile area You must be able to lift at least 50lbs As in most all IT support positions some after hours or weekend work is sometimes required but we do provide flexible hours Salary will be commensurate with experience If you are looking for a dynamic fast paced yet friendly environment where you can grow your skill set and be exposed to a vast amount of varied and stateoftheart technology this is the place for you
